| Major Deliverable: Task 1: "Provide a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and Baseline Documentation Report (BDR), as separate reports, for the above referenced parcel(s) as described in Exhibit “A”; in accordance with Division of State Lands (DSL) standards which are attached as Exhibit “B.” In addition, the Contractor must comply with the most current American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) 2247 standard for conducting Phase I ESAs on forestland or rural property. The signatory on the report must be an “environmental professional”, as that term is defined by ASTM.
Authorized deviations from DSL Scope of Services: 1) DSL waives the requirement to conduct a 50-year chain-of-title search; however, the Contractor will be responsible for conducting a proper Environmental Lien and AUL Search. Contractor shall report on the findings of this search and provide an assessment as to whether any findings constitute a significant concern. 2) DSL waives the requirement to submit five (5) certified hard copies of the Phase I ESA report and three (3) certified hard copies of the BDR to DSL.
