General Description: Pursuant to section 440.13(12)(c), Florida Statutes, the pricing for prescription medication dispensed in workers’ compensation claims must be based upon the manufacturer’s average wholesale price published in the Medi-Span Master Drug Database. The sole publisher of the Medi-Span Master Drug Database is UpToDate d/b/a Wolters Kluwers Clinical Drug Information (CDI). This Medi-Span Master Drug Database on-line subscription is used as a reference/resource in determining the appropriate reimbursement amount for services rendered by healthcare providers to injured workers. Please note: The contract allows for the use of additional licenses when needed. 1st year (Sep 15, 2022 – Sep 14, 2023): One (1) user / per year = $4,556.41; Additional users (2-5) = $3,689.34 per user / per year; Additional users (6+) = $3,068.87 per user / per year.
