Line Item Description: the Executive office of the Governor retains legal services and representation at the direction of the Governor's General Counsel, Mr. David Axelman, on behalf of the Executive Office of the Governor (EOG) as permitted by 287.059(2)(a), F.S. and 287.059(5). F.S. contracted with the firm Boies Schiller Flexner LLP (the firm) to provide the legal services . Attached is the incorporated Engagement Letter effective 10/30/2025. This Purchase Order identifies an estimated ending date which will be modified if necessary. The requirements of any applicable Florida Statutes including, but not limited to, section 287.058, F.S., are incorporated by reference. billing rate: Partner: $875.00 Counsel: $800.00 Associate: $625.00 Payment is subject to the receipt by the EOG of detailed monthly invoices and satisfactory completion, verification and written acceptance of both the legal services and each invoice by Mr. Axelman or the assigned Deputy General Counsel. Each monthly amount will vary based on the hourly services and, if any, itemized reasonable expenses. Travel expenses are not anticipated, but should travel-related expenses be identified as necessary, the trip and possible reimbursable expenses must be pre-approved in writing by the EOG and the Governor's General Counsel and will be subject to section 112.061, Florida Statutes.
