Line Item Description: Colt Creek Campground Dura-Cast Hydro Tank Replacement Tank used for fire suppression at Colt Creek State Park Campground to be replaced as follows: Scope of work to include, but not limited to: 1. Disconnect existing water storage tank utility lines 2. Demolish and remove existing water storage tank 3. Install new green 6,500 gallon DuraCast water storage tank with fire department draft connection 4. Reconnect utility systems 5. Verify water tank refill time - document for record 6. Perform draft hydrant flow testing per NFPA/Polk County requirements - 500 GPM flow test minimum This PO does not include the following, which may be additional and require modification of purchase order as needed: 1. Concrete pad replacement 2. Cable Restraint system replacement 3. Plumbing/structural permits 4. Plumbing system renovations 5. NFPA Tank fill rate compliance requirements 6. Landscaping Repairs 7. Water supply system/well modifications 8. Additional shipping cost of container if container not available locally from manufacturer Details of quote are as follows: 1 DuraCast 6,500-gallon Water Storage tank @ $14,180.00 1 Water fill line fittings @ connections @ $500.00 1 FDC drafting connections/fittings/support @ $2,500.00 1 Tank Disposal @ $750.00 1 Flow Testing (diesel pump, certified flow equipment) @ $1,000.00 1 Telehandler Equipment Rental @ $1,500.00 1 Permits/drawings/fees (if applicable) @ $500.00 Materials and services total $20,930.00 Labor total $6,000.00 PO Total $26,930.00 Partial Payment of PO is acceptable. Purchase order can be changed if additional funds are needed to complete repairs as required by Polk County. Note: PO Originally was to occur within the FY25/26 timeline, but due to delays with shipping and with Polk County DOH regulations, this project was delayed and this purchase order is to replace original one (PR930961_ POC7096A) which will be withdrawn as project cannot begin until after July 1.
