Line Item Description: Support key aspects of DEPs Florida Keys-based water quality monitoring program. Service Period: July 1, 2026 June 30, 2027 Task 1 Water Quality Equipment Maintenance (35%): Assist DEP staff with maintaining water quality monitoring equipment, including the cleaning, calibration, and preparing of sondes for deployment. This work must be performed at a DEP facility. Paper calibration logs should be filled in the appropriate binder and digital calibration logs should be saved on FKNMS_Share drive for all sonde stations. Task 2 Data Management (50%): Continuous water quality monitoring program data and materials need to be formatted, saved, and kept up to date. All raw data should be immediately backed up to the appropriate folder on the FKNMS_Share drive as both a BIN and CSV file. Data should then be processed into a Limited filed and saved onto the FKNMS_Share drive. Finally, Limited files are to be uploaded to the Centralized Data Management Offices Non-SWMP Data Upload website with the Primary QA files saved to the FKNMS_Share. All of this should be completed according to the most recent Aquatic Preserves Continuous Water Quality Monitoring Quality Assurance Plan. Data management can be performed at either a DEP facility or, with prior approval from the DEP Water Quality Protection Program Coordinator or FKNMS Environmental Manager, at a CFK facility. Task 3 Assist with Field Activities (15%): Assist DEP staff with field operations as needed and within the limits of training and/or authorization. Field operations currently include water quality sampling, sonde swaps, and benthic assessments. SCUBA diving will only be permitted if a current Letter or Reciprocity is received from CFK. Quarterly Deliverable(s): Task 1 Water Quality Equipment Maintenance Calibration logs, paper and digital Task 2 Data Management Continuous Water Quality Raw data (CSV and BIN), Limited, and Primary QA files uploaded to FKNMS_share Task 3 Assist with Field Activities
