Services include but are not limited to case file review; telephone conferences and calls; records review; expert opinion drafting; travel for required appearances; deposition attendance and preparation; arbitration-related activities; and court testimony. Expert witness services will be provided in accordance with section 92.231, Florida Statutes, which defines an expert witness as any witness who offers or is subpoenaed to testify as an expert in any court proceeding, before a state attorney in a criminal investigation, or before a grand jury, and who is permitted by the court to qualify and testify in that capacity. Travel expenses, including mileage, lodging, and meals, will be reimbursed in accordance with section 112.061, Florida Statutes.
