Line Item Description: 1. Introduction The University of Central Florida, Florida Solar Energy Center (Contractor), shall review the integrated draft of the 9th Edition (2026) Florida Building Code and identify publication errors, formatting issues, incorrect cross references between sections, missing text, and any other issues related to the integration of the approved amendments into the 8th Edition (2023) Florida Building Code. 2. Tasks a. The Contractor shall conduct a minimum of two reviews of the integrated draft of the 9th Edition (2026) Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation. b. The Contractor shall have a subcontractor conduct a minimum of two reviews of the integrated draft of the 9th Edition (2026) Florida Building Code - (Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, Existing Building, and Testing Protocols.) 3. Task Limits a. Upon receipt of a copy of the integrated draft of the 9th Edition (2026) Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation, the Contractor shall have three weeks to complete its reviews (if the due date would be in December 2025, the Contractor will be allowed to complete the review by January 23, 2026). b. Upon receipt of a copy of the integrated draft of the 9th Edition (2026) Florida Building Code (Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, Existing Building, and Testing Protocols), the subcontractor shall have three weeks to complete their reviews (if the due date would be in December 2025, the subcontractor will be allowed to complete the review by January 23, 2026). c. The integrated drafts will be available for review between December 2025 and March 2026 4. Deliverables a. An interim report in matrix format shall be delivered within three weeks of receiving a copy of the integrated first draft from the Program Manager or another party as authorized by the Program Manager (if the due date would be in December 2025, the Contractor and/or subcontractor will be allowed to complete their interim report by January 23, 2026).
